Ed is the "happy medium" spin instructor, he is neither a crazed cheerleader, nor a mime that just sits on the bike and utters an instruction every 15 minutes. This class is a good balance of all spin techniques: jumps, sprints, hills, etc. It is a great workout with enough recovery periods that you're not left gasping for air at the end. It's just right for a 6:30am workout. While the music leaves a little to be desired, with lots of techno/dance beats without any singing, he does throw in the occasional popular 90's rock or current hot dance song.

Finally! Here's a spot where people can write about their gym experiences, teachers, classes, trainers and more! Make sure you're joining the right gym in your area and find out if the classes you're interested in are really what you expect them to be. Educate yourself before you step foot into your next class. Nobody likes being the person in class who isn't up to speed. Read on so that it doesn't happen to you!

He also instructs @ nysc astoria in the mornings. It is a great way to start your day.He has awsome music, he is the only instructor who has any music taste and knowledge. All others just throw in a mix of everything and most of the time you want to kill yourself in hopes that the class finihes soon. But I fly through Ed's morning classes and his sunday class cause the music is just great!! Music is not the only thing that's great about his classes ofcourse but I'll keep the rest to myself...:))
